Job description

  • Evaluate existing parameters for order placement (in terms of delivery time, reliability of deliveries, minimum order quantity, minimum stock, seasonality of orders, ...);
  • Optimise the usability of order placement software;
  • Place suppliers commands based on received parameters;
  • Order tracking (following up on confirmations, delivery time, backorders, ...);
  • Transport tracking;
  • Manage return packages and credit notes;
  • Records management (price differences, errors or missing deliveries, ...);
  • Follow-up on purchase prices ;
  • Collection, interpret and present data in order to prepare forecasts, and this in consultation with the client's commercial services and accounting departments;
  • Contribute to inventory reduction together with financial and commercial services departments;
  • Contribute to the increase in margin by optimising the treatment of transport and related costs;
  • Management of emergencies such as out of stock, wrong orders, ...;
  • Make proposals to improve procedures, auditing and communication;
  • Drafting and verification of procedures;
  • Assist in the tracking of invoices and credit notes.

Your profile

  • Perfect communication skills in French, and good knowledge of both English and Dutch;
  • 5 years of experience as a stock manager ;
  • Knowledge of the world of transport is a plus (incoterms, ...) ;
  • Good knowledge of Excel;
  • Communicative: to be endowed with the ability to identify & solve problems, to be clear in communication with both internal and external customers;
  • Proactive: Being able to identify the risks of over storage, to anticipate the moment when the stocks threaten to expire or in the event of seasonal fluctuations, adjust the order habits according to the evolution of the sales (loss of customers, end of contract, variation of range ...);
  • Organised, precise, persevering, sense of initiative;
  • Flexible in work management (multitasking);
  • Dynamic, curious, stress resistant, autonomous;
  • Interested in the medical world;
  • You comply with the strict rules and procedures relating to medical equipment;
  • You are at the same time a qualitative and administrative support for the commercial departments.
